I saw the Oncologist today and received some wonderful news...no more chemo for now. Dr. Barnes felt that another round of chemo would not do enough good to out way the possibility of damage that it might do to my lungs. (have to be mindful of my pulmonary fibrosis) I will see Dr. Flanagan Wednesday to discuss and schedule a date for my surgery. Depending on what the pathology report is after surgery will determine if I will need more chemo. The plan is for sure that I will do radiation for 6 weeks sometime after surgery.
Still a long way to go, but so thankful to God that I didn't have to do another round of chemo at this time. I am just absolutely give out from it and just really need to recoup some energy.
