Whew, what a week? I had chemo on Friday the 11th and then a booster shot on Monday the 14th. Let's just say it drop kicked me in the dirt, rolled me around, then drop kicked me again. Today is the first day that I have felt somewhat human and I am still struggling. The only glimmer of hope is this Friday will hopefully be my last chemo. I'm actually looking forward to surgery. Pain I can handle, this other stuff gets a little tougher each time.
On the bright side our beautiful daughter Danielle and her husband Trevor came in from Maryland yesterday. It has been really nice to have them here, even though I'm not much fun right now. Dani has been cleaning and doing all kinds of things around here. Crazy girl, I keep telling her to just take it easy but she won't do it. Next week my parents are coming in from Texas for a visit. They are excited to get to meet Trevor.
Finally I must say I have the most wonderful family. My husband Pete, my son Ben, and baby girl Rebekah have been amazing. They pamper me so much, I may not know how to act when this is all over!
